Talking Points is a stunning series of thought-provoking exhibits scattered throughout the ground floor of the Wellcome Wing. Beautiful, awe-inspiring or controversial, they raise questions about the influence modern science is having on us.
Talking Points includes four art pieces by leading contemporary artists. The artists were asked to respond to contemporary science with works created to provoke strong responses. Three of the four artists were inspired by developments in biomedical sciences and genetic engineering, while the fourth created a work that draws upon the new ways of experiencing the world we are able to encounter as a result of emerging technologies.
