Help your students make a personal connection with the science that shapes their lives by bringing our Talk Science Teacher Twilight CPD sessions into your school. You’ll explore creative approaches to make curriculum science relevant for all your students, by connecting it with their own experiences, interests and future lives.
Our 90 minute sessions, delivered by our experienced training team, are suitable for groups of 8-20 people and take place in your own venue at a time that works for you.
Choose from three 90-minute sessions:
- Mystery Boxes – a hands-on activity for the classroom exploring science skills and how science and scientists work
- Hook, Inform, Enable, Extend – all about our key approach for planning engaging activities, and how to apply it yourself
- Facilitation - our top techniques for using questions, images and objects to build students’ enquiry skills and harness their curiosity and personal knowledge.
Sessions are available to both primary and secondary teachers.
Selected Talk Science Teacher Twilights are free of charge until July 2017. Contact us to find out more.
