Our action-packed one-day Learning in Museums programme focuses on using the Science Museum to support the National Curriculum and enrich students' learning.

Teachers' CPD day – Learning in Museums

This one-day course has been developed to support you in making the most out of visits to the Science Museum and other institutions. It's intended for whole school-staff, individual teachers and education consultants.

The day includes:

Interactive presentations about the Science Museum’s galleries, resources, and gallery-based activities
Opportunities to try out classroom activities for before and after your visit
Practical guidance on planning a visit to support the curriculum and the needs of your students
Time exploring the galleries
Opportunities to share ideas and experiences with other teachers and our staff
A Question and Answer session at the end of the day
A goody bag to take away with you

The cost is £680 for up to 20 people.
