On the Move

See this exhibit in the relocated and reinvented Launchpad - the Science Museum's most popular hands-on, brains-on gallery.

On the Move is an unusual film made just for Launchpad. It’s about an enormous and extraordinary machine built by a team of curious and creative engineers, to demonstrate the many ways you can transfer energy.

Built in a warehouse in Cornwall - from materials including pink poodles, an armoured personnel carrier, a bow and arrow, a flaming baguette and a tyre - the incredible machine ran for just one day. But it was captured on film and is now on show in Launchpad.
