Reconstruction of Bleadon Man's face

Bleadon Man is a 2000-year-old skeleton found in the village of Bleadon in Somerset. This model is a reconstruction of his face and was built by medical artist Caroline Wilkinson at Manchester University. She used well-established information and her knowledge about facial muscles and soft tissue depths to build the face, but had to guess the style and texture of the hair.
