Film times
Films last about 45 minutes, plus you should allow 10-15 minutes beforehand to take your seats. Screenings at the following times on weekdays during term-time:
10.40 and 11.55: teachers’ choice – book early to request your choice of film (minimum group size of 40 may be required)
13.05, 14.20, 15.35 and 16.45: scheduled screenings
Preview films for free
Before booking you can preview any film for free to assess its suitability for your group. Simply show staff at the IMAX ticket desk proof of your teacher status e.g. a union card or letter on school headed paper. Please be aware that this opportunity may not be available during busy holiday periods. If you come at a busy time you can either buy a ticket to guarantee a seat or wait until nearer the start of the screening in the hope that seats may become available.
Prices
Pre-book IMAX tickets as part of your visit itinerary and you’ll receive discounted educational prices:
Pupils: £4.25 each
Adults: essential adults free (1: 10 ratio required), £6 per additional adult
These prices are also valid for educational groups visiting at weekends and during school holidays.
Film classification
Some films carry PG ratings due to scenes that may not be suitable for all our visitors. Contact us if you are concerned – 020 7942 4777.
Booking terms
You can make cancellations or changes to the numbers of places booked for IMAX films up to 14 days before the date of your visit. Regrettably we cannot accept changes to numbers or cancellations made less than 14 days before the date of your visit and you will be liable for the full cost of the tickets that we have booked for you even if fewer students come on the day or you are not able to take up your seats for any reason.
