The Science Museum is home to a range of family friendly cafés and restaurants that serve fresh, great-tasting food.
Whether you're looking for a seated lunch in Deep Blue Diner, a coffee break after a day of exploring with your little ones in the Basement Café, or you fancy treating yourself to ice cream and milkshakes at the Shake Bar, there's something to suit everyone.
You are also welcome to bring your own food and drink, which can be eaten in the dedicated picnic areas found throughout the Museum.
Deep Blue Diner
(until 17.00 during school holidays)
This family restaurant on Level 0 in the Wellcome Wing serves fresh and simple seasonal dishes.
The extensive menu includes beefburgers, fish and chips, pasta, salads and a great kids' menu. Deep Blue's outdoor terrace is open during summer.

Enjoy hot and cold dishes, including pizza made to order, hot specials, salads, wraps and sandwiches.
Perfect for lunch or treating yourself to one of our homemade cakes and an award winning coffee. Find it on Level 0 next to the shop.
Media Space Café
(Until 17.00 during school holidays)
The perfect place to enjoy a toasted sandwich with an award-winning Benugo coffee, a glass of wine or a nice cold beer.
Our light and contemporary Media Space Café is on Level 2, away from busier parts of the Museum.
A great place for families to pop in for light refreshments after exploring The Garden on Level -1.
The Basement Café offers coffee and loose-leaf teas, as well as packed lunches and ice cream. Plus, there's plenty of space to park buggies.
Complete your visit to Wonderlab at the Shake Bar, where you can indulge in delicious made-to-order ice cream milkshakes or design your own ice cream tubs.
