Einstein's Cosmos

Commissioned by the Science Museum to commemorate the centenary of the publication of Einstein's general theory of relativity, Einstein's Cosmos comprises two animated films, The Theory of Gravity and The Big Bang, that explain the theory's complex concepts in a way that's easy to understand.

Filmmakers Order and audio wizards Sounds and Sons worked closely with the Museum's production team to create a visual and sonic experience that combines archival photos with hand-drawn and digitally created elements to tell an often dramatic story.

CERN physicist Dr Harry Cliff curated this exhibition to make Einstein's big ideas accessible to a general audience.

Visit the Cosmos & Culture gallery on Floor 1 for a unique insight into the amazing theory that changed the way we look at the universe.
